It’s the first day of the new month, and that means the first edition of our blog carnival. Even though this carnival is very new, we have 11 submissions of valuable advice on a range of topics. Without further ado, let’s take a look at what other bloggers have to offer!
Brian Terry from Big Selling Website Design has written a very interesting post on the law of necessity as part of a larger series. You can read the other 7 laws here.
Jessica Hupp from Virtual Hosting has compiled the ultimate list of dev cheat sheets. No matter what you’re working on, it is definitely worth a look. Meanwhile, over at Web Development 2.0 Baz Old explains the relative benefits of JQuery, Prototype, and MooTools.
Christine writes an account how she monetizes Me, My Kid, and Life through inspiration and desire, while M. Cruz explores the world of paid freelance blogging and how it has benefited noirlecroi.com.
Justin Duval uses RSSHugger to promote The Dark Grin. Read about how he does it.
GWN Lifestyle presents some innovative SEO tips for chicks, and explains how they can help you improve other aspects of your blog.
Robert Phillips from CYBERCA$HOLOGY explains the law of 250 and how word of mouth can make or break any campaign. Niharika from iLibrarian has 6 ways to cope with negative comments if you find yourself in the wrong situation. On a lighter note, cfgoulart at Making Money Resources has written a good tutorial to get you started with RSS feeds and content syndication.
That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of the free website project carnival using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
Great first edition. Thank you for hosting this and for including my submission. Congrats to all the contributors for their informative posts!
Thanks for the feedback Mike. I've tried to break out of the InstaCarnival format, and I think it went pretty well for the first time. Your submission was actually of particular interest to me, as I had been thinking about trying some paid posts. The added bonus of good feedback never occurred to me, but now I'll have to check it out!
